Comprehensive Coordination Unit offers special support
In July 2004 Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida formed the Comprehensive Coordination Unit (CCU) in South Florida as a six-month pilot program for members with chronic or complex disease processes who are frequently readmitted to the hospital.
