The following schedule indicates the current recommended ages for routine administration of childhood vaccines.

In 1999 Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) and Blue Plan medical officers launched physician outreach initiatives designed to build collaborative relationships with physicians and physician groups, such as the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Chiropractic Association, among others.

The CDC’s National Immunization Program (NIP) announced last month that diphtheria and tetanus toxoids and acellular pertussis vaccine (DTaP) remain in short supply.
