Polk County Schools offer an employee assistance program

Employees of Polk County Schools have access to a school board sponsored Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The EAP provides professional and confidential counseling services 24 hours a day through Horizon Health. Many of Horizon Health’s services are provided at no charge. All full- and part-time employees, their dependents and members of their immediate households are eligible to participate.

If you render services to a member covered through the Polk County School Board who may benefit from counseling for emotional problems or overwhelming family, legal, work and/or financial-related stress issues, please remind them that help is available through their employer-sponsored program with Horizon Health at (800) 272-7252.
